True arrested development
Any hopes of more episodes of Arrested Development have been crushed...halted...kaput. But being in the TV biz as I am, especially on the writers' side of things, I can't say I blame Mitch Hurwitz

The "season" finale pretty much called it, I think, and I'm proud of them for having given the show an adequate send-off, tying up all the loose ends. It allowed me to begin the mourning process, so that when this announcement came, I didn't curl up in a fetal position and weep.
The next question is: What will they (Hurwitz, Bateman, et al.) do now? I'm very excited to find out.
