My questions is: why can't the slippers click their heels three times and say "There's no place like home"? Wouldn't that guarentee a return to the museum.
The crucial question is: Where do the shoes consider home? Because it could be that they clicked and ended up in a prop cabinet on some back lot. Or in Liza Minelli's shoe closet. Or -- no, that's morbid.
Eeeeek. Sequined shoes, trying to slither backwards in time, and all they can find is Liza... now that's just tragic.
